Flush Impact
Our Story

The one thing very few players understand.

Every golfer has been told to keep their head down. Keep their eye on the ball. Slow down their backswing. Turn their hips. Follow through.

Very few of them have ever been told the one thing that actually determines how solid the shot is.

The bottom of the swing arc must be on the target side of the ball.

"The common trait among sound ball-strikers is that the bottom of their swing arc is 2–6 inches in front of the ball — on the target side."

That's not a tip. That's a fundamental the best players in the world learn very early in their careers. Ball first, then divot. Forward shaft lean at impact. The club descending as it strikes the ball. It's what most amateurs have never been taught — and what most beginners have no idea even exists.

Dennis O'Donovan has been teaching this for over 38 years. He's met so many players who have spent years working on things that aren't priorities — while the real issue sat untouched. Most of them could improve their contact in a single session, once they understood what contact actually means.

Built by a PGA teaching professional.

Flush Impact was created by Dennis O'Donovan, PGA — a Director of Instruction with 38 years of experience teaching at exclusive, private Top 100 golf facilities. The product came out of a simple observation: most amateurs don't understand one of the most important fundamentals in golf.

Dennis has been writing and teaching about impact since well before Flush Impact existed. In a 2011 article for Virginia Golfer magazine titled "Impactful Change," he laid out exactly what sound ball-striking requires — and exactly why most players never achieve it. That fundamental became the foundation for this product.

Flush Impact is the physical embodiment of everything Dennis has taught. Put it on the ground. Strike the ball first. It gives you instant feedback on whether you did it or not — your swing is yours. But solid contact is not negotiable.

For every golfer.

The Tour player who has lost their feel. The scratch golfer who never quite understood why their bad days were bad. The 10 handicap player whose short game isn't as sharp as it should be. The 20 handicap player who has played for years and still hits it fat.

Contact is the priority. The bottom of the arc must be on the target side of the ball. Flush Impact trains exactly that, and as contact improves, it will help you understand and control ball flight direction with its draw and fade graphics.

Your swing is yours. How the club strikes the ball can vary slightly.
